The portraits are only half the fun. There's the watching, the reactions and the inevitable unsolicited artistic advice.

Each package includes 20 to 50 guest illustrations, created live at your event and finished in studio afterwards where needed.

And if you'd like everyone to have one? We can arrange that too.

Not a problem. A large guest list doesn’t mean everyone needs to be illustrated live.

We can use a first-in list, reserve spots for VIPs, add studio portraits or DRAWN by Post, or bring in a second illustrator for larger numbers.

Each package includes a set number of illustrations. I’ll work through as many as possible live, then finish any remaining included portraits back in the studio.

More guests than your package includes? You’ve got options. Add A4 studio portraits for $30 per person, choose DRAWN by Post, or simply stick with the number already included.

Two people count as two guests, whether they’re illustrated together or separately.

Romance has its limits.

No. I take a quick reference photo and their name, then they’re free to head straight back to the party.

I draw from the photo, so nobody needs to choose between being illustrated and getting another drink.

These are fashion illustrations rather than traditional portraits. I capture your likeness, outfit, hair and the details that make you recognisably you, interpreted in DRAWN’s signature style.

Each illustration is finished with the DRAWN blind-embossed seal and presented with a backing board and protective sleeve.

Absolutely.

Travel is included for events in Queenstown, Wānaka, Arrowtown, Cromwell, Clyde, Alexandra, Oamaru, Timaru + Dunedin.

For events elsewhere in mainland New Zealand, a flat $350 travel fee applies, with a minimum three-hour booking. No kilometre maths required.

Remote + island locations are quoted separately.

As early as possible, particularly for popular wedding dates and events requiring travel. I only take on a limited number of events each month.

If you’re coming in fashionably late, ask anyway. Your date may still be available.

A 50% non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due four weeks before your event.

Postponing? No problem — you can move to one available date within the next year (as long as you let me know 4+ weeks before the original event).
Further postponements cost $750 per date.

If you cancel, the deposit is non-refundable — and if you cancel within four weeks, the full payment is non-refundable too (I’ll have cleared the decks for you).

A $350 fee may apply for last-minute travel changes.
