Live fashion illustration is part entertainment, part personalised keepsake.

At DRAWN, guests are photographed at your event, then illustrated by hand in my signature fashion illustration style. They’re free to head back to the party while I draw, then collect their finished portrait later.

No posing for twenty minutes. No aching smile and very good outfits encouraged.

Not at all. I’ll snap a quick photo, take their name and they can get straight back to the party.

Some guests hang around to watch me draw. Others disappear and come back later.

Usually around 6–12 guests per hour, depending on the level of detail involved.

Absolutely.

Not every person in the room needs to be illustrated for DRAWN to work as entertainment. Depending on the event, we can work with a set number of portraits, a managed guest list or an approach designed around the size and flow of your event.

This is fashion illustration, so I’m looking for the details that make someone immediately them: the outfit, hair, shoes, accessories and little things worth noticing.

For private events, your paper can be personalised with your names, date or event details.

For commercial events, DRAWN can take its cues from your existing brand or campaign, including logos, colours, products and other visual details.

DRAWN is available throughout New Zealand + further afield.

Travel is included for events in Queenstown, Wānaka, Arrowtown, Cromwell, Clyde, Alexandra, Oamaru, Timaru + Dunedin.

Elsewhere in mainland New Zealand, a flat $500 travel fee applies.

Remote + island locations are quoted separately.

As early as you can if you have a particular date in mind. I take on a limited number of events each month, and popular dates can book well ahead.
